BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women’s lacrosse program announced its 2023 schedule on Monday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks are set to compete in 16 games this season, seven of which will be held at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
Lehigh will open up the season with four non-league games during the month of February. The Mountain Hawks will kick off the 2023 season with a road trip to Newark, Del. to take on Delaware on Feb. 10. Lehigh will host its first home game of the season on Feb. 15 when defending Atlantic 10 champions’ Saint Joseph’s comes to Bethlehem.
The Mountain Hawks will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on Wofford on Feb. 18 before wrapping up the month of February by hosting Saint Francis on Feb. 25.
Lehigh will have the opportunity to prepare for league-play with its final non-league road trips during the first week of March. Lehigh will travel to Philadelphia on March 1 to take on LaSalle before traveling to Wagner on March 4.
The Mountain Hawks will open up league play on March 11 with a road trip to Easton to take on rival Lafayette. A week later, Lehigh will travel to Loyola (March 18) to take on the defending Patriot League Champions before traveling back to Bethlehem to host Navy (March 25) and Army (March 29).
The Mountain Hawks will begin the month of April by traveling to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on Bucknell on Apr. 1. Lehigh will return back to Bethlehem to host Penn on Apr. 4 at the Ulrich Sports Complex in its final non-league game of the season.
Following its final non-league game against Penn, Lehigh will wrap up the season with four league games. The Mountain Hawks will travel to Washington, D.C. on Apr. 8 to take on American before heading back to Bethlehem to host Boston University on Apr. 15.
In its last road game of the regular season, Lehigh will travel to Worcester, Mass. to take on Holy Cross on Apr. 22. The Mountain Hawks will return to the Lehigh Valley for their final game of the regular season on Apr. 27 against Colgate.
The Patriot League Championship will begin on Sunday, Apr. 30 followed by the semifinals on Thursday, May 4 and the championship on Saturday, May 6. The Mountain Hawks will search for their ninth-straight Patriot League Tournament berth.
