La Salle Men’s Basketball to Compete in 2022 Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The La Salle men’s basketball team is set to make a trip to Montego Bay in the upcoming 2022-23 season, taking part of the Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic from November 18-20.
 
A total of eight teams from eight conferences will go head-to-head in an early season round robin tournament at the Montego Bay Convention Centre. In addition to La Salle, the field is as follows: Georgetown, Loyola Marymount, Wake Forest, UW-Green Bay, Morgan State, Utah Valley and Queens University.
 
As part of the series, La Salle will take on Queens University inside Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center in an on-campus matchup before taking flight to matchup with ACC foe Wake Forest on November 18. The Explorers conclude their trip with a November 20 matchup against either Georgetown or Loyola Marymount.
 
Millions of eyes will be on Jamaica in November as CBS Sports Network will once again televise the tournament across the U.S. and provide streaming access online.
